Poles among the finalists of the “Work, Unleashed” 

Wrike, the provider of an advanced platform for managing business collaboration, today announced the finalists of the first edition of the “Work, Unleashed” competition, which was attended by over 200 teams.

The participants’ task was to submit a project to improve cooperation, supplementing or extending the functionality of the Wrike platform and in line with the company’s mission aimed at increasing teamwork efficiency. The finalists will fly to Prague, where on September 19 they will present their designs in person at the company’s new headquarters. The first three teams will receive a cash prize of 25, 10 or 5 thousand. dollars.

The final projects were selected on the basis of six criteria: usability, code quality, innovation, completeness, complexity and idea. The winners will be selected by a jury composed of: Patricia DuChene (Vice President of Wrike for International Sales and Market Director EMEA), Alexey Korotich (Vice President of Wrike for Products) and Yuri Golikov (Vice President of Wrike for Engineering). The sum of cash prizes is around 100,000 dollars, and each of the 20 teams outside the podium will receive $ 200 gift cards.

From the results of the competition so far, it is clear that in the context of the continuous expansion of our team, we were not mistaken in choosing the next location and pool of local talent. I am very happy that I will be able to meet the finalists in person and maybe I will suggest a few of them work in the Wrike Prague branch – adds Filev.

Here are the finalists and their projects:

AO team, project: Workflow Extension, country: Russia

A feature that allows users to configure automatic startup after completing the required tasks.

Appulate team, project: Wrike Dev Helper, country: Russia

An extension for Google Chrome that adds the workflow automation feature for Dev-QA and offers, among others automation of status changes, mapping and synchronization with Bitbucket and Github services, and the ability to create tasks from templates and permalink resources.

Boars team, project: Wrike Google Assistant, country: Romania

Voice assistant that facilitates task creation and facilitates interaction through the Wrike platform.

Team Jiří z Poděbrad (JZP), project: Find the Best Spot, country: Russia

A web application that helps users of the Wrike platform search for optimal locations to work with individual statistics based on various metrics.

SMMBuilder team, project: SMMBuilder, country: Russia

The application allows the unification of all accounts on social networking sites in one panel for more convenient activity monitoring.

Tensy team, project: exTensy, country: Russia

An extension for Google Chrome that facilitates collaboration thanks to the ability to discuss webRTC video chat tasks via the Wrike platform.

The Botas team, project: Wrike Task Handler, country: Romania

IntelliJ plugin designed as a tool for project and task management as part of an integrated environment for programmers working with the Wrike platform.

The Pride team, project: Wrike IBM BPM, country: Poland

An extension for task integration and synchronization between Wrike and IBM BPM platforms.

WrikeMeeting team, project: WrikeMeeting, country: Russia

An application to improve efficiency configuring tasks related to matters discussed during meetings / conferences. Automatically created tasks are then assigned to the right people with a click or voice command.
